Look What They Made….
Some very talented ladies from The Fab Friends Facebook group are ENJOYING a lovely retreat at the YMCA of the Rockies Long Peak Lodge. What a view while sewing!!!
A view of The Mummy Range in the Rocky Mountain National Park taken by Sandy F.
Sadly, I wasn’t there but guess who was…Mr. October!
Made by Cindi Y.
She added a little spider and cobweb dangling on his hat for extra fun.
Made by Lucy J.
She finished both of my Mr. October designs.
Hmmm, the “strip search” sign is kind of conveniently placed. LOL.
Made by Maureen E.
She added lots of extras…cobwebs, spider, bats, and a pumpkin face.
The pumpkin face made me giggle.
THANK YOU for sharing your fun photos!!!

Happy Easter!!
Happy Easter and Happy Spring!!!!
Look what my friend Bev whipped up using my Bunny Business pattern. This little guy always makes me smile.
We had a little bit of rain and it created a hill side rainbow of flowers. Just had to stop and take a few photos to share.
Just look how many different flowers are there. Even a little Blue Bonnet hidden in the center. Beautiful!

Sew What…..
This weekend was our sewing bee retreat. I just LOVE retreat weekends ~ don’t you? It’s when I finally sit still and finish my UFO’s (unfinished fabric objects).
This was our sewing view. Relaxing or what!
Sundown on day one… but not to worry….we continued to sew until after 1am.
(affiliate link below - I may be paid if you make a purchase)
I recently took a Craftsy class called “20 Fresh Applique Techniques” by Amanda Murphy which was a ton of fun. She had some really lovely projects. I finished my mini wall hanging version of her swirly quilt.
Next I finished my last paper pieced block from Bea’s quilt along.
Then I got motivated to make the entire quilt. Linda encouraged me to try a new technique…a little 1/4” flange around the borders. It just makes the entire quilt pop. Always try something new!
We always try to include some type of group project in our weekends. This time Janis led the group in making itty bitty pin rests….NOT pincushions…..just a little place to rest your needle so you don’t loose it on the sofa, bed, floor, etc. while working. Aren’t they ADORABLE! They’re hand sewn from 8 little hexies.
Our bee is doing a block of the month together so we all worked on getting our monthly blocks caught up. Lots of lovely batiks were floating around the room. This is going to be gorgeous.
Bev finished my “All Flakes Welcome Here” pattern. She’s did an awesome job!
Sewing with friends….Priceless:)
Today is also the BIG reveal of projects from the Seasons Row Along. You DON’T WANT TO MISS THIS!!!

Did you have fun? Did you collect all your rows? We’d love to see your projects.
You can share in our Flickr group.

Look What They Made…
Judy V. made a Swim Lessons wall hanging from the kit she won. I don’t know if you can see them but there are the cutest little quilted fish in the water.
Dorrie needed a door hanging for a friend so I resized the From the Heart quilt into a mini for her. It turned out AWESOME!! The mini pattern can be found in my Craftsy shop for a limited time.
Mary H. was a pattern tester and made a Swim Lesson wall hanging. I LOVE it made in the lighter colors with a contrasting wing fabric…too cute!!!
♥THANK YOU♥ to everyone for sharing your finished projects.
That’s the best part of making patterns:)

Made From My Pattern….
Avery made a quilt using my Fascinating pattern. Love, love, love it.
The border additions using the Vulcan and Science Officer Insignia as well as the Vulcan hand greeting are awesome. What a great way to pull it all together.
You can see this quilt and many more in their quilt show titled “Quilt Trek - The Next Generation”. Isn’t that a great quilt show theme!!! Avery said the theme was picked to encourage everyone to seek out and go places they’ve never been before with their quilting. They’re looking forward to entries that are out of this world.

Look What She Made…
Rebecca T. used my Four Seasons of a Tree pattern to create a FABULOUS little quilt. She substituted hexies instead of using the yo-yo’s on the trees. She also added a few local visitors on the fall block.

And if you’re snoopy like me.…I had to peek around the quilt…. and think the view off her deck is amazing take a look at this!!! This is what she sees when she turns in the other direction. A view of Mount Jefferson. Imagine waking up, holding your cup of coffee and looking at that each morning. Breath taking!!!
Thanks for sharing Rebecca.

Take a Look at This….
Deborah’s wonderful skill is rug making and her favorite holiday is Halloween. So, when she spotted Mr. October she was “hooked”. She hooked him in to a rug that is. YES! That’s a rug. Is this AMAZING or what?!?!
He’s now on display…or should I say “hung” …ROFL…at the Florida State Fair for everyone to see.
I wish you much luck and hope you win!! How could you not?! You have to stop back and give us all an update.
***UPDATE – Mr October and Deborah took home a First Place Blue Ribbon!!! Congratulations!
The detail is just breath taking. You are truly a talented artist.
My original quilt pattern that she worked from. I’m blown away. The rug is just AMAZING!!!

Look What She Made…
I just had to share this fun quilt made by Carol using one of my free patterns. It was created for the Firehouse Quilts of Colorado. This organization collects snuggle quilts for children in crisis.
I LOVE the dark rainbow print between the rainbow colored rows!!! So much color and movement. It just screams fun, fun, fun.
A lovely quilt and a great cause to donate it to. THANK YOU for sharing it with us.
