Did anyone attend the Hauptstrasse Quiltfest in Boerne, Texas this past weekend?
There’s just something fun about quilts dancing in the breeze.
I love being able to walk all the way around each quilt. You never know what surprise might be hidden on the flip side. Check out these backs!! They are as fun as the fronts.
Is this antique a beauty or what! Pink cross stitch design and hand quilted.
Another beauty. 87 x 98 and all hand quilted. There were quite a few hand quilted pieces there.
I haven’t seen this block before but it’s really pretty. 1870’s reproduction quilt. I wish it was hung in the other direction.
Sooo many little pieces! I totally admire scrappy little piecing since I don’t have patience to do it myself.
Pinwheels and Postage Stamps by P. Morton
Can’t show quilts without some bright eye candy.
And I’ll leave you with the perfect closing note….I mean quilt.
Have a wonderful day!

Oh that show looks great. I have yet to visit an outdoor one like that but I hope to at some point.
Wish I had realized it was last weekend. Would have been fun. Have to get it on the calendar for next year.
