I’m sure most of you probably haven’t been following the news about the new EU VAT tax that will be starting on January 1st. The short story is that this will require all businesses to collect and pay taxes in EACH European country they sell an electronic PDF pattern to.The requirements for record keeping will be difficult, time consuming and expensive for small business owners and crafters.
Since my Craftsy shop does not offer me a way to control who purchases my patterns I will be removing them. All customers living outside of the EU VAT tax countries and in the USA may continue to purchase my patterns (electronic PDF or paper) from QuiltWoman.com.
Sadly, this will also effect the current quilt alongs. If you miss a month you will have to wait until the pattern is published in full and purchase it that way. There will no longer be an option to purchase individual missed months.
This is truly a sad day for crafters and small businesses.

oh yeah forgot the QAL's, I have gmail and can upload a pdf there to download, do you have the same thing?

This makes me sad. I just found you and wanted to start the Snow quilt along but couldn't find the patterns on Craftsy...what a disservice they are doing to us all!!!
