March Check In…

Fields and fields of amazing Texas wildflowers are popping up everywhere. But wow, March felt like ZOOM gone.

My long arm tension control has been giving me a headache soooo I didn’t get anything quilted….BUT…I did get three string tops finished.
Nix that off my scrap challenge list!

Which is your favorite?

black rainbow

drop rainbow

scrappy drop shadow

This was my first time “stringing along” and it was “ADDICTING”. I tried the Missouri Star 10” papers. Although her video says to tear the paper off after the block is complete, I would recommend waiting until the sashing is put on otherwise the blocks become very stretchy.

I love all string quilts, but especially the bright one in the attic window setting.

Oh, wow! All three of these string tops are excellent! Like Vicki, I've never seen them set with a shadow before, so that's my fave :)

I like all the string quilts, but the bright one in the middle is my favorite. I would not have thought to use string blocks with shadows. Very cool!

Love your string quilts. I'm not sure I could pick a favorite but maybe one of the floating block quilts. I've never seen string blocks with shadows before either and I really like it.
