Meet A Quilter episode #8

I want to introduce all of you to a fellow designer and friend, Tina, from Quilting Affections. Her designs are just adorable.

Hello Everyone!  My name is Tina Dillard, Quilting Affections, original pattern designs.  I live in Waldorf, Maryland about an hour south of Washington DC, with my fabulous husband, Oldest Son, Patrick, and my two girls Anna and Lucy (Schnoodles).  I have one more son that is in USAF stationed in Colorado.
My Girls: Anna and Lucy

My quilting background started with a basic sampler class at a local Northwest Fabrics in Great Falls, Montana over 20 years ago and I have been making quilts off and on since then.  Quilting Affection, started to come about 5 years ago, when I discovered my mother-in-Law, Diana Dillard had the same interest in quilting as I do.  We have been working together ever since to developing Applique and Piecing Patterns.

I recently just came back from the International Quilt Festival in Houston.  I had a small section to display my quilts in the QuiltWoman.Com booth.  I would like to highlight the most popular of our Quilts.

We had 12 quilts on display in our little booth area and everyone just loved them, but three of them seemed to be extra popular.

First was Let It SnowMan!!  This cute little quilt was getting a lot of attention with the shop owners.

Lillies in the Wind, is one of our newest patterns,  and getting a lot of attention with everyone. They love the color combinations and the design of this quilt.

I think the most commented quilt and the one that grabbed everyone attention was Froggie in the Window. This cute frog had people stopping and commenting on his stickiness in the Window.

Thank you to Carol for letting me introduce myself and show off a few of my patterns on her blog.

Have a great sewing day,

Tina

Be sure to hop over to Tina’s blog and website to see all her quilts and share some quilty love (we all like comments). She’ll be participating in the Christmas is in My Heart Hop on Monday too.
