Cute, cute and I toss my selvages too.
I was just thinking today that I need to make a couple of pincushions. I need a thick one for my long pins (the flower headed iron-safe ones as well as the long round headed quilting pins). I keep one pin cushion on my sewing table and one on my cutting table and swap them as one fills and the other empties.it would be good to have a pin-cushion that stays in my bag for class instead of having to remember to pack one of the other two every week!
