I’m finally back playing outside the box with the Puzzle Bags of Scraps from my guild. These are bags of random scraps and the puzzle is to make a usable quilt for charity from them.
My “before” photo was accidentally deleted from my camera so we will have to “fake” it. The bag contained a colorful panel and some golden scraps.
The panel just seemed to have such an exotic flair to it so I appliqued a Serengeti silhouette in the middle. Some thin black borders were added to balance the center design.
Finishes 44” x 42”
Have a fun day and dream of someplace you’d like explore!

Another clever "solution", Carol. Well done.
