Lots of free motion quilting this weekend. Three quilts are finished for the Hands2Help Challenge. I’m really starting to get the hang of free motion quilting…finally. My stitches need a tad more work in the even length department.
This has Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting in it. I used a rainbow poly thread from Superior and a large meandering stitch all over.
Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 batting again. Same rainbow poly thread from Superior. I did large meandering on the color blocks, smaller stippling around the heart, and….
Can you see it? Some fun words in the heart. It says Love, Smile and Hugs all hidden amongst the loops.
This has an off name brand puffy poly batting in it so I used my walking foot and cotton thread from Connecting Threads.
Hope you are making a quilt to donate somewhere too!
