I’m learning that when they say, “everything is bigger in Texas” they really mean EVERYTHING. Check out this new visitor who decided the sprinkler valve housing was a great cave. I tossed a quarter in there to help with sizing…..YES, he got to keep the quarter! Hahaha.

I remember when I first moved to Houston, I was thrilled by the 70F in January, until I saw the giant roaches (shudder)! I don't live there anymore, but I still love Texas (despite the giant critters). :)
He could have the quarter, the house, and anything else he wanted. Yuck.
ewww! here in NC we have big bugs too, but like someone said, not like palmetto bugs! the roaches in FL are the worst!
Yep, don't think I'd be putting my hand in there either!
