The Mid-Atlantic Quilt Show part 1

So much eye candy! So much inspiration! The Mid-Atlantic quilt show did not disappoint. It was a fun day.

I was most excited to turn the corner and run into A Day in the Life of a Diner Booth by Linda Cantrell. This was the second time I’ve gotten to see one of her fabulous quilts in person. I LOVE her quilts. The detail is AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! Just take a minute and look at all the tiny details that are appliqued in each block. Her humor is wonderful.

You can see more of her work HERE.

She often hides Elvis and aliens in her work. Can you spot them?

This block reminded me of the Thanksgiving my 2 year old niece stripped and ran passed everyone eating dinner yelling I’m neckid, neckid, neckid. Hahaha.IMG_1000
