Need a quick gift idea? How about a colorful table topper!
The Island Batik Ambassadors are sharing lots of fun table topper ideas this month.
My friend Sharon started with a 5” charm pack of lovely Island Batik fabrics. She pieced the blocks into rows shown below.
Then she assembled those rows set on the diagonal.
Now for the magical part. Just line up a ruler so it’s a 1/4” out from the block points and cut off the extra triangles with your rotary cutter.
Tada!!! No fussing with piecing triangles here!!
You can bind or use the stitch and birth method to finish.

Sharon made a beautiful table topper with the batiks! This pattern could take on so many different moods depending on the batiks chosen and they'd all be gorgeous! I'd love to make one!
