STBS Christmas Caroling Row Along and Give Away

Christmas Caroling RAL 2017 photo CCLogo-2-small-450x373_zps857lafcy.jpg

Welcome back to the Christmas Caroling Row Along! This is my second row.
You can find my first row HERE if you missed it.

Family traditions, do you have them?
We always have fish on Christmas Eve, festa dei sette pesci or feast of the seven fishes, and cannoli’s for desert on Christmas day. Now I’m not talking any ol’ cannoli, I’m talking about a cannoli from Termini Bro in Philadelphia. Anybody know what I mean? My mouth is watering…

cannoli
This image is not a Termini Bro Cannoli

Can you guess the song I picked this time?
It’s not as popular so you have to REALLY know your songs.

dominick row

Did you guess Dominick the Donkey?
If you did you’re a holiday song super star!
If you’ve never heard it you can listen
HERE ~ warning you’ll be humming it all day

Finished row size is  12” x 30”

Download the FREE row from my Craftsy shop HERE.

Sorry I didn’t get the binding on…

Background fabric for this row is Northcott’s The Magic of Christmas collection,
sku# 21701-44

A huge THANK YOU to Northcott for generously providing all the designers in this hop, and there are a lot of us, with their row fabrics. Be sure to thank all our sponsors for making fun events like this possible for you.

Helpful Tips

The pattern includes placement guides for the donkey and Santa. I suggest sliding it under an applique pressing sheet like I previously demonstrated with the elves. That way you can pre-fuse your donkey and Santa into one unit which makes placing them on the block much easier.

If you made something from one of my rows I’d love to see and share it on my blog. We all hope you’ve enjoyed this year’s hop!!

  • The word giveaways in the rules and guidelines are also known as sweepstakes.
  • Most of the giveaways are international shipping this year
in some cases, you will be asked to pay for shipping your giveaways. I am not rich and I do not ask sponsors for money, they provide prizes only. If they shipped the prize to me, you will be asked to pay for shipping
  • All giveaways will be shipped that are in my home within 48 hours of my having heard from you.
  • An invoice will be sent to you via Paypal, and shipping will take place via Paypal, so your Paypal email will be needed to send the invoice. You will receive a tracking number except for overseas shipments. All shipping will either be first class which averages out at 2.77 to 4.00 up to 13 ounces. Paypal fees are added to that amount to cover that fee. All fabric bundles from Michael Miller, Hoffman, and Moda will be shipped via Priority Mail to protect the fabric itself.
  • Please note, every effort is made to protect the prizes. They go into a plastic bin when I receive them, and it is covered by an air tight cover. I have a dog in my home and I have a smoker in my home, so I do everything possible to protect the prizes.
  • Most companies are very good about getting prizes off to customers quickly also, but some companies are overseas, so please allow all sponsors a 2-week time period before you report to me that you still haven't received your prize. When the company is overseas, it can take 6 weeks to 90 days for an item to also arrive.
  • Whether or not you read the above, the rules for giveaways are in place to protect everyone. I do not want to hear you didn't read them, they will be posted on my blog daily during each featured day. There is no excuse for not reading them.

Two rows! You're a Row Along Rock Star! Thanks so much for the time and effort you put into this, and for coming up with such a cute row, again.

Thank you for this row and really making me go back to early elementary school when we lived near Italian families. Her father would always sing it to us. And we tease "is he suppose to be Dean Martin or Frankie?". He would pretend to spank us into the kitchen where her mother or Nona had special cookies waiting. Had me grinning all the way.

After rereading everything my stomach is aching for a real Philly Cannock from the Southside. They sell them here in Florida but nothing is the same as the ones you grew up on...

Thank you so much for the pattern and the song! And my mouth is watering for the cannoli. I grew up in Jersey and visited my grandmother in Philly all the time. I have since moved to Colorado and I truly miss the foods I could get back east. Anyway, thanks again.

I definitely miss the cannolis in Italy... I hadn't heard the song until today, but I don't necessarily think you need to hear the song to fall in love with this absolutely adorably cute pattern. That donkey just makes you want to smile and it's infectious.

You're always a joy to have to participate in the row along and I am so happy you came along for the ride again this year. Hope we see more of you in the years to come.
