On April 21st Google will be implementing a “mobile friendly” ranking algorithm that will change the way it returns search results for mobile devices. Why should you care you may ask? If your website is not mobile friendly it will no longer show up in top search results that you work so hard to get to.
You can easily figure out if you’re site is “mobile friendly” by opening Google on your phone, not a computer, and typing this command in to the search box.
site:yourdomain.com
It’ll bring up all the indexed pages from your site. You need to see a gray “mobile friendly” tag in each page description like the one below.
Or you can enter each individual page into Google’s “mobile friendly” test page to view the results.
I don’t know about you but I’m finding it hard to keep up. As soon as I learn to use something it changes again. Gah!

I don't have a smart phone so I guess I'm doomed!
Thanks for that info. Your right, it's almost impossible sometimes to keep up! Now if we were all 12 years old, this would all make perfect sense! LOL!!
Thanks for this info! I'm friendly! You're right--it is almost impossible unless you are doing website optimization for a living to keep up with Google! XO
Mobile Friendly Websites
Experts are saying that this impact will going to be huge because Google is working very hard to provide a better mobile experience for users in the search results.
