I just got back from our quilting bee’s retreat weekend. We stayed at the beautiful Valley Ranch Retreat in Camp Wood, TX. We sat around in our pajamas and sewed and sewed and sewed for an entire weekend.
The facility was so cozy and inviting. The food was yummy. The time spent with quilty friends was priceless.
The work space provided a double table work station for each person, cutting tables, pressing stations, design walls, and fabulous lighting.
Not my quilt but absolutely lovely
Another lovely quilt that wasn’t mine
Did you spot the little rubber ducks that mysteriously arrived one morning?
Nope, this lovely isn’t mine either….but I really did get a lot done
It was so peaceful and the views were amazing! We had 7 little deer that kept snacking on the grass just outside the work room windows.
Sun setting on the first night
Yes, there was wayyyy too much chocolate involved.
And some fun signs we saw along the way….
Now I’m off to set some goals for the new year….

Looks like a lovely place to have a quilting retreat. Love the sign from Hondo! I've finished my first knitting "grab bag" project -- and you can take credit for the idea! Post up on Thursday.
Good for you. It sounds like it was fabulous.
