Christmas Sewing is Done

This, thank goodness, wraps up my gift sewing for Christmas. Now I can just sew for fun.

An apron for my niece. She’s an 8 year old self proclaimed makeup artist. Finding fabric for her was like being on a treasure hunt. I was soooo excited to finally stumble on to this print. It’s called Mouse Makeovers by Quilting Treasures.

Their faces are just soooo darn cute!!!! Oh, I love guinea pigs. How about that little mouse on the right…. I just want to give him a hug.

We happened to be down at the San Antonio River Walk on comic-con weekend. I kept seeing people with green box heads. I had no idea who they were supposed to be. Well…. I’ve been educated by my young nephew. They were Creeper from Minecraft. Hahaha. Here is his requested apron theme.

My mother’s quilt is done and on it’s way to North Carolina. I don’t usually purchase panels and jelly rolls but I fell in love with this fabric. The pattern was Dream Weaver by the Creative Sewing Center.
