Our first Christmas in Texas was fun. My girls were here for the holiday and we did lots of roaming road trips around San Antonio, Fredericksburg and Comfort, Texas. Christmas day was spent outside playing fetch with the dog in short sleeve shirts! Here are a few crazy snippets of our holiday.
My Christmas Cactus. I couldn’t resist. LOL
Another succulent all decked out for the holidays that I spotted near the Pearl Brewery in San Antonio. See I’m not the only goofy one in town.
We spotted a giant traditional German Christmas pyramid in Fredericksburg. It was as tall as a house. As they say “Everything is bigger in Texas”.
But the most AMAZING thing we found was this gingerbread house inside of the Guenther House in San Antonio. It was a detailed replica of the Guenther House itself complete with the river flowing down the side. The sign said it took 200 hours to make.
There was something going on in each room of the gingerbread house.
But wait…. that’s not even the most amazing part……
Peek inside the window of the room in which the gingerbread house actual sits….there is a tiny replica of the gingerbread house inside of the ginger bread house!! AMAZING!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday
and
I wish you all a Happy 2013!

Wow! Just wow. If I lived in the deep south I'd likely do some decorating like that too.
That gingerbread house is amazing! Sounds like you had a lovely Christmas in your new home town!
