Puzzle Quilt #4

Whew! This is the last of the Puzzle Bag charity quilts for this month.

In case you don’t know….puzzle bags are bags of random scraps and orphan blocks that our guild gives away. The puzzle is to make a quilt using those mismatched items that will be given to the local children’s home.

In the bag…

This one almost killed me. The fabrics I had to work with were so old (as in print style), country and dark. It’s a rainy day here and it was really bringing me down.

The star blocks were really wonky and stretchy so I decided to only fuss with one and save the other for another time.

Too cheer myself up a little I’m giving it a financial backing. HAHAHA. Found this buried in my stash.

I think I need something bright and cheerful to work on next……

…Sewing Onward!!

Hey Carol!
This is so cool, I was wondering what the puzzle blocks were. I'm on my guild board this year and think this might be fun to incorporate for our charity projects this year, can you give me any more details on how your guild does this?

Thanks, Mary Ann/MareMare
