Scrub Booties
Supply List
1 yard of fabric for the entire scrub set
1 yard of fabric for the entire scrub set
4 pieces of 1/4 inch wide elastic x 3 1/4 inches long
Freezer paper, wrapping paper or newspaper to draw the pattern on

Step 1 – Draw the Pattern
Draw a 5 x 6 inch rectangle on paper and cut it out.
Fold it in half to make a 5 x 3 rectangle.
On the fold measure and make a dot 1/2 inch in from the side. Draw a line from that dot to the top corner.
Cut this triangle off.
Label the pattern “scrub bootie – cut 2”.
Step 2 – Cut the Fabrics
Pin the pattern to your fabric and cut out 2 booties.
Step 3 – Sew the Casing
Fold the top and bottom edges 1/2 inch.
Fold the top and bottom edges 1/2 inch.
Sew along the edge to make the casing. Be careful to sew straight so your elastic will fit when done.
Step 4 – Insert Elastic
Use a pin on the end of your elastic to help guide it through the casing.

Sew across the ends of the casing to hold the elastic in place using your presser foot as a guide.
Step 5 – Sew Side Edges
Fold the bootie in half with “pretty” sides touching. Make the side edges even and pin.
Sew both sides using a 3/8 seam.
Turn pretty side out and gently poke the corners out.
Repeat all steps for second bootie.

2 pieces of wide double fold bias x 36 inches long
Freezer paper, wrapping paper or newspaper to draw the pattern on

Step 1 – Draw the Pattern
Draw a 5 x 2 inch rectangle on paper and cut it out.
Draw a 5 x 2 inch rectangle on paper and cut it out.
Label the pattern “scrub - mask cut 2”.
Step 2 – Cut the Fabric
Pin the pattern to the fabric and cut out.
Step 3 – Sew the Mask Side Seams
Place both pieces together with “pretty” sides touching. Make the short edges even and pin.
Sew the short sides using a 3/8 inch seam.
Turn pretty side out and press neatly.
Step 4 – Sew the Straps
Note: one side of the tape is slightly wider than the other. The wider side will be sewn on first. This will be the back of the mask.
Unfold the bias tape and center along the top edge. Make the edges even and pin.
Sew along the fold line of the bias tape to attach it to the mask.
Refold the bias tape along the fold lines bringing it around the fabric edge to the other side (front) and pin.
Sew all the way down the bias tape to make it a strap. Repeat for the other side.
Step 5 – Make the Side Tucks
Fold the side edges of the mask into thirds and pin. This will make a tuck in the side edge.
Sew along the sides to hold the tuck in place. Repeat for the other side edge.
Fluff out the mask and your done.

13 inch long piece of 1/4 inch wide elastic
Fabric Marker
Freezer paper, wrapping paper or newspaper to draw the pattern on

Step 1 – Draw the Pattern
Draw a 12 inch diameter circle on paper and cut it out.
Draw a 12 inch diameter circle on paper and cut it out.
Label the pattern “scrub hat – cut 2”.
Step 2 – Cut the Fabric
Pin the pattern to the fabric and cut out 2.
Step 3 – Sew the Circles
Place both circles together with “pretty” sides touching. Make the edges even and pin.
Use a fabric marker to mark a small opening on the edge for turning.
Sew around the circle using a 3/8 inch seam.
Step 4 – Clip Curves
Carefully clip the curves around the hat. Don’t cut your stitching.
Turn the circle pretty side out and press neatly.
Step 5 – Sew the Casing
Sew around the circle again 1/2 inch from the edge to make the casing. Keep your stitches straight so the elastic will fit when done.
Step 6 – Insert Elastic
Use a pin on the end of the elastic to help pull it through the casing.
Sew the edges of the elastic together.
Even out the gathers around the hat.
Pin and sew the opening shut.

I have made the witch costume and the scrubs with the mask hat and booties. I am amazed how easy the tutorials are and patterens. My Grandaughter is going to love the outfits I have made for her doll. Thank you for giving free patterens to share. I love your work ,so keep it up :-)

Hi, thank you for your really great tutorials! I just finished the scrubs, mask, booties and hat. I made my grandughters scrubs in a light orange material. It turned out so cute!!! She will love it!!! Thanks again for your amazing tutorials!! 😀
