Love Hate Relationship

Last night I had a get real moment with my stash. You know that thing we all have a love, hate relationship with. We love to have it but it drives us nuts. 

I had to get honest. There was just so much in there that I won’t ever use. I don’t even remember where some of it was adopted from. Why keep saving it?

So, I spent the day cutting it all up into squares and strips to make pet blankets and beds (pillows) for the local SPCA. I don’t think the animals will care too much if the patterns match or not. The weather is getting cold and they will enjoy a little snuggly.

Some of the larger pieces will be used as backings.
