Cutting Chart – Darks
Block A – 1 ½ x 1 ½
Block D – 1 ½ x 1 ½
Block E – 3 ½ x 2 ½
Block G – 3 ½ x 1 ½
Block I – 1 ½ x 2 ½
Block K – 2 ½ x 3 ½


Cutting Chart – Lights
Block B – 1 ½ x 1 ½
Block C – 1 ½ x 1 ½
Block F – 2 ½ x 1 ½
Block H – 1 ½ x 2 ½
Block J – 2 ½ x 1 ½



Assembly
Sew Block A to Block B and attach to the left of Block E
Sew Block C to Block D and attach to the right of Block E
Sew Block F to Block G and attach to the bottom of Unit A-D
Sew Block H to Block I and attach to the top of Block J
Sew Unit H-J to the left side of Block K and the right side of Unit A-G and set aside

Section 1 finished size 9 1/2 x 3 1/2



Week 7 – Section 2


Cutting Chart – Darks
Block M – 2 ½ x 7 ½
Block O – 2 ½ x 7 ½


Cutting Chart – Lights
Block L – 3 ½ x 7 ½
Block N – 2 ½ x 7 ½



Assembly
Working from left to right sew Block L, Block M, Block N and Block O in a row

Section 2 finished size 9 1/2 x 7 1/2


Sew Section 2 to the bottom of already completed Section 1 and set aside



Week 7 – Section 3


Cutting Chart – Darks
Block Q – 1 ½ x 1 ½
Block R – 1 ½ x 2 ½
Block T – 4 ½ x 1 ½
Block V – 2 ½ x 1 ½
Block W – 7 ½ x 3 ½


Cutting Chart – Lights
Block P – 1 ½ x 1 ½
Block S – 2 ½ x 2 ½
Block U – 1 ½ x 1 ½



Assembly
Sew Block P to Block Q and attach to the left side of Block R
Sew Unit P – R to the bottom of Block S
Working from left to right sew Block T, Block U and Block V in a row then attach to the top of Block W
Sew Unit T-W to the right side of Unit P-S

Section 3 finished size 9 1/2  x 4 1/2


Sew Section 3 to the bottom of already completed sections 1-2 and set aside



Week 7 – Section 4



Note: Starting the alphabet over



Important Note: Section 4 is part of the other eye area. If you use red as your dark fabric color it will photograph as “red eye”.


Cutting Chart – Darks
Block B – 3 ½ x 1 ½
Block D – 2 ½ x 1 ½
Block F – 1 ½ x 1 ½


Cutting Chart – Lights
Block A – 2 ½ x 1 ½
Block C – 1 ½ x 1 ½
Block E – 3 ½ x 1 ½
Block G – 4 ½ x 1 ½
Block H – 8 ½ x 8 ½


Assembly
Working from left to right sew Block A, Block B, Block C and Block D in a row
Working from left to right sew Block E, Block F and Block G in a row then attach to the bottom of Unit A-D and the top of Block H then set aside


Section 4 finished size 8 1/2 x 10 1/2



Week 7 – Section 5


Cutting Chart – Darks
Block I – 1 ½ x 1 ½
Block K – 2 ½ x 1 ½
Block M – 3 ½ x 1 ½
Block O – 4 ½ x 1 ½



Cutting Chart – Lights
Block J – 1 ½ x 1 ½
Block L – 2 ½ x 2 ½
Block N – 1 ½ x 1 ½
Block P – 4 ½ x 4 ½



Assembly
Sew Block I to Block J and attach to the top of Block K
Sew Unit I-K to the left of Block L
Sew Block M to Block N and attach to the top of Block O
Sew Unit M-O to the bottom of Unit I –L
Sew Unit I-O to the left of Block P


Section 5 finished size 8 1/2 x 4 1/2



Sew Section 5 to the bottom of already completed section 4


Sew this to the left of already completed Sections 1-3 to make a large square



Sew completed Week 7 to the right of already completed Weeks 5-6 that are pinned on the design wall.


Sew this row to the top of the remainder of the design wall.
