Busy, Busy and a Give Away

I apologize for the “radio silence”. I’ve been busy working on lots of new patterns that will be ready for testing shortly. It’s crazy how much time pattern design takes.

Finally finished my lady bug UFO from the July 2014 Fons and Porter magazine. Aren’t they cute!! Now if I can just get my longarm up and running. There’s a closet full  of tops waiting to be quilted.OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

  13. I am working on a baby quilt for my sweet niece/nephew due in the next two weeks! Finally at the binding step. The title of the pattern is "Step Ladder." I love it and can't wait to start my next quilting project!!

  14. This week I've been sewing up small bunny treat bags made from 5" fabric blocks. I chose all pastel, spring-time fabrics. I plan to have one at each place setting on my Easter table, filled with yummy treats! They are adorable!

  59. I've been on a mini streak. Finished a fish, 2 owls, a cat, and an elephant-frog-turtle parade. Next up is a pony, 2 zebras, and a lamb. My hallway is a wonderful menagerie. SEW - can't wait to see your new patterns - I think they'll fit right in!
