New Quilt Brewing

This was a very fun and productive weekend. In sewing news.....I've been working diligently on my new character quilt. The shading is a little different than the Spock quilt so it has a lot more tiny pieces. A bit more tedious but coming along very nicely.

OK. I caved. Here is a sneak peek at the design wall.


In other news....My family participated in the Richmond Ride for Kids on Sunday. This event raises money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. It's an hour long motor cycle ride through some beautiful Virginia countryside.

My daughter is a 21 year survivor this year!

Look how much the event raised....Wow!

    Wow! Taht's a great achievement.

    And so is your daughter's twenty-first anniversary.
