However, would it be possible to iron the MF onto the parchment paper directly rather than the fabric, then use it like any other paper-backed fusible? Hmmm, I think I'll try it.Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13171827980564886014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4707772959966528752.post-50406683752110756052015-04-25T09:05:51.721-05:002015-04-25T09:05:51.721-05:00Save all the bits and pieces with misty fuse on it...Save all the bits and pieces with misty fuse on it and make sprinkled blocks for other projectsRebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06651396265516069702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4707772959966528752.post-1380669885691555002015-04-25T07:38:07.400-05:002015-04-25T07:38:07.400-05:00Thanks for the info. I'll be making a very special raffle quilt soon with old school sports uniform shirts and want to keep it as soft as possible.Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09269423321421270481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4707772959966528752.post-62464392549449079062015-04-24T15:43:01.396-05:002015-04-24T15:43:01.396-05:00I draw the design on freezer paper, iron it on the...I draw the design on freezer paper, iron it on the right side of the fabric and rough cut it. Then I arrange my pieces on the misty fuse, getting them as close to covering it up as I can. I cut the misty fuse off the roll. Then fold the pressing sheet over or use a second sheet or parchment paper to cover and fuse. It wastes a little misty fuse but I'd rather do that than pre-fuse a larger piece of fabric than I need. I use a bath scrubby to clean the excess misty fuse from the goddess sheet.

Barbara
Stash OverflowBarbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11687940102998242654noreply@blogger.com
