When I purchase package stabilizers I only crack open one side of the package. This way I can pull out the stabilizer like you do kitchen wrap while keeping the rest of the roll neat in the box with the label on it.

great tip, though I buy big rolls at amazon and they are now a mess, I need a good way to store and label them
