Whooos on the cover! What’s on the cover? No. Whooo! LOL. Reminds me of the old Abbott and Costello skit….geez if that isn’t “dating” myself. LOL
When my copy of Quiltmaker’s 100 magazine arrived I was sooo excited to see my Whooo block on the cover. I’m still doing the funky, happy dance.
If you’re new to my blog…welcome!
For today’s hop I thought I’d do something a bit different. Let’s have some fun using the block in various settings.
Whooo says your owl has to be brown? It looks great in unexpected colors too. I love using the stomach to show off fun fabric prints.
Maybe a woodsy feeling Whooo quilt is what you need.
Or place a set of owls on a branch for a sweet table runner.
Try flipping the branches around for a whimsical baby blanket.
I got together with a few of my friends and we did a virtual round robin using a picture of the Whooo block for the center. Isn’t this a fun little quilt!
♥THANK YOU♥ all for creating with me!
Round #2 Joan from Moosestash Quilting, Round #3 Bea from Bea Quilter, Round #4 Tina from Quilting Affection
Thank you for dropping by. I hope all of you have a HOOT with WHOOO!!!
I’d love to see the things you make using the block so do stop back and share.
Enter below for a chance to win a copy of the magazine and be sure to visit Quiltmaker’s website for lots of fun and prizes each day of the hop.

Love your Whooo block. I especially like the setting of two owls on the tree branch.
ReplyDeleteNice job on your post today! Here's a true story about your block: I write the patterns for Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks, and I helped create the index of blocks at the back of the issue. When I proofed the index, I had to actually count the number of O's in "Whooo?"--and I found that a few O's were missing! In the end, we got it right and your block is a winner. Thanks for being with us on the blog tour. Have a great week!

I love the owl love birds on the table runner! This would be adorable for something smaller too, such as a potholder -- but pretty fussy applique.
