Somebody’s View

I’m terrible at keeping secrets but my partner finally received her quilt so I can share.

“Somebody’s View” was made for a themed mini art quilt swap over on Craftster. Be sure to check out the GALLERY for all the other great wall quilts being posted.

I tried lots of new things with this quilt. The 3D planet and wavy border/binding were fun. Quilting using a one point perspective was a bit more challenging.

The planet and mountains are fusible applique. The shadows on the mountains were created using black netting and white crayon.

Try something outside of your box this week!

It’s fun!!

Wow, I love it! I want to work inside of your mind some day! I just don't have the vision, and I love yours!
